In January 2015 the Phoenix Logistics Group embraced an opportunity to transform our business from the traditional paper consignment to an V6 online technology with the Omnix Group presenting v6.
With unwavering support from the Omnix staff, the transition period was swift and efficient, with all stakeholders -operational staff, drivers and customers - embracing the move and from there, our business has blossomed from a small group of elite customers through to today where we have over 300 customers enjoying the many modules within v6.
For us, the major change over recent years has been the ability to offer our customers a non-stop shop for all their logistical requirements which includes the integration of our three (3) 3PL warehouses located throughout SEQ that automatically link into the Freight Management System.
The ability for our Operational Teams across multiple sites to be in touch with the fleet via GPS tracking, transparency of warehouse stock movements by customers and interaction with end users via email alerts are just a few of the features which have enhanced our service offering in the industry.
The most notable benefit of v6 has enabled us to secure major contracts, in particularly the Rexel Group Australia. With over 200 branches Australia wide, the Rexel Group now have the ability to integrate their front counter staff directly into the v6 3PL stock holdings at any time, we then automatically despatch orders, provide pre-delivery advice and services across branches.
